Ben Fox, Alsco Uniforms, Salt Lake City, recently advanced from director of sales and marketing to vice president of that department, following a January meeting of Alsco Uniform’s Board of Directors.

“I’m confident Ben Fox will continue to elevate growth and branding,” said CEO Bob Steiner. “We have set forth an aggressive marketing plan here domestically and abroad to make Alsco Uniforms a household name.”

Jim Kearns, executive vice president and CFO, added that, “Ben Fox and the sales and marketing team have successfully helped Alsco Uniforms weather a pandemic and reset the sales strategy that will set up Alsco Uniforms for aggressive sales growth over the coming years. This furthers our strategy to align sales, service and operations in leading growth together.”

Kearns also is chair of TRSA. He spoke about Fox’s promotion during a Jan. 26 visit to the association’s headquarters office in Alexandria, VA. During his visit, Kearns thanked TRSA staff for their service to the linen, uniform and facility services industry, and outlined his vision for the duration of his two-year term as TRSA chair.

Fox said he has had many challenging roles since joining Alsco Uniforms in 2008, and he’s eager to do more to aid in the company’s growth. “I am grateful and excited to take on this awesome responsibility,” Fox said. “I will continue to use my voice to grow Alsco Uniforms by serving the wonderful sales, service and operations employees around the company.” Fox, who graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2007, started at Alsco Uniforms as corporate accounts service administrator. He then advanced to assistant manager of the corporate accounts division. After that, he spent time as the senior marketing manager and director of sales and marketing before this latest promotion to VP of sales and marketing.

In his new role, Fox said he plans to broaden his focus on industry growth by increasing his involvement in TRSA. “I will also use this new opportunity to help elevate the industry and TRSA by taking an active role in participating in events and promoting a ‘rising tide lifts all boats’ approach to the sharing of sales and marketing ideas.”

Founded in 1889, Alsco Uniforms is a fifth-generation family-owned and operated uniform company that operates more than 180 locations and employs roughly 17,000 people worldwide. The company provides laundry rental services to more than 355,000 customers in 13 countries. This makes Alsco the world’s largest uniform company, according to a news release.
