Employees of CITY Laundering Co. Inc., Oelwein, IA, recently gathered for the company’s annual employee appreciation party. In 2017, CITY added over 40 employees to the team who were recognized at the party, according to a news release.

“It’s going to be a big year this year at CITY,” President Colin Wetlaufer said. “We’re excited to keep growing as a company.”

This past year, six employees reached years of service milestones. Those employees include Chriss Carsello with 5 years; Alicia Ertmann, Katie Buhman, and Christina Hillman with 10 years; Rhonda Kerns with 30 years; and Marc Kane with 35 years.

Rookie of the Year 2017 was awarded to Alex Wedgeworth. Melissa Spicer earned the title of Production Employee of the Year, Steve Radloff was voted the Route Service Representative of the Year, and the Founder’s Award was given to Rick Buhr.

“We’re ready for bigger and better things. 2018 is going to be a fantastic year,” Wetlaufer said.
