Gurtler Grows in the ‘Land Down Under’

Laundry chemical provider Gurtler Industries Inc. recently announced that it’s expanding operations in Australia, according to a news release.

“I am pleased with the early successes we have achieved in our newest business venture and predict that we will continue to grow in Australia with the same commitment to service, innovation and people that we have across our entire company,” said President Greg Gurtler, adding that an expansion to the New Zealand market is expected as well.

Gurtler recently has made significant investments in its newly developed business unit in Australia. Based out of Warragul, Victoria, Gurtler’s coverage extends across the country from Adelaide in the south to all of the coastal cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Mackay and Rockhampton, the release said.

The company has expanded into Tasmania as well and has established a local distribution network. Sandro Santo is overseeing the business unit, known as Gurtler Industries Australia PTY, LTD. “Gurtler Industries Australia has been able to provide superior technology through the introduction of our integrated Vis-Tex Tunnel and Central chemical-dispensing systems, along with our Aurora D2L concentrated NPE-free and enzyme technology,” Santo said. “There has been a huge need for another important option for all of the laundries in Australia to look to. The growth has been outstanding.”

The Australian business unit joins Gurtler’s growing international coverage. Gurtler currently sells laundry chemical products and provides full technical services across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Click www.gurtler.com for more information.
