Gurtler Industries Celebrates 40th Anniversary
At a time when experience matters most, the three active generations of the Gurtler family are celebrating the company’s 40th year in business. From its beginning as a small family-owned business serving the Midwest, Gurtler Industries Inc., South Holland, IL, has grown into an international leader in the commercial laundry industry, now serving customers throughout North America, the Caribbean, Central America and Australia, according to a news release.
Founded by William Gurtler in 1982, who remains active as chairman, the company is led by son Greg Gurtler, president and CEO, and his son Jake Gurtler, vice president. This past year, as the COVID-19 pandemic reverberated throughout the laundry industry, the Gurtler family and their team of research chemists and application technologists created breakthrough products and programs to benefit commercial laundry operations worldwide. “We are proud of the quality-driven, customer-service focus that we established in 1982 and how that corporate commitment has built a leader in the laundry chemical industry,” Bill Gurtler said.
