Healthcare Top 150: Crothall, Medline Honored

Becker’s Healthcare, an e-newsletter, recently announced a list of 150 healthcare providers and related service organizations on a list it dubbed “150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare 2016.” Included on the list under the subheading “Services Providers/Suppliers” were two TRSA members: Crothall Healthcare, Chesterbrook, PA; and Medline Industries Inc., Mundelein, IL.

The newsletter staff determined the 150 healthcare groups that were honored based on submissions from hospitals and related healthcare organizations, including ambulatory surgery centers, medical groups, consultants and others. Selection criteria included past honors as well as benefit programs for employees, such as professional development, wellness initiatives, diversity/inclusion and others.

A page on Crothall cited the company’s “full suite of learning and development opportunities,” as well as its time-off rules, which allow managers to earn up to one month of vacation time. The company also offers health club membership reimbursement, tuition reimbursement and wellness programs.

The page for Medline noted its wellness initiatives, including a Weight Watchers program, biometric screening, mammograms, a full-time nurse liaison and more. The company also offers employee discounts on Fitbits to help staff members track their exercise activities. Click here for details.
