Huebsch Services broke ground on Sept. 2 on an expansion of the company’s 55,000-square-foot production facility in Eau Claire, WI. Huebsch is partnering with Hoeft Builders on the project, and the expansion will add approximately 15,000 square feet to the current production facility, according to a news release.

Once expansion is completed, Huebsch plans further investments in new equipment and innovative technology. The building expansion and equipment investment will accommodate the growth Huebsch is experiencing regionally. Huebsch also is redesigning the production plant to improve working conditions for its employees with the goal of making jobs less physically demanding and providing a more comfortable working climate along with improving quality and customer service, the release noted.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Eau Claire City Council President Terry Weld, along with other city and county representatives, spoke to attendees about the historical role Huebsch plays in the city of Eau Claire, the Vaudreuil family’s dedication to community service and the commitments Huebsch has made to sustainable business practices.

“130 years ago, my great grandfather established a small commercial laundry business in downtown Eau Claire,” said Jim Vaudreuil, Huebsch Services fourth-generation owner and CEO. “Today, I’m very proud to be leading the company into its next 130 years. The two additions that are part of this expansion project will have a huge impact on our operations.”

Huebsch Services serves more than 6,000 customers in West Central Wisconsin and the metropolitan areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN, with offices in Eau Claire, WI, and Eagan, MN.
