ImageFIRST Lancaster (PA) Gives Back – Big Time

It’s not every day that a company’s charitable efforts help set a new mark in the Guinness Book of World Records. But that’s what happened recently when ImageFIRST of Lancaster, PA, participated in an event that successfully assembled the world’s largest truck convoy.

The event was the 27th Annual Make-A-Wish Mother’s Day Truck Convoy, and it drew a total of 590 vehicles, which set a new record, according to a news release. The fundraiser benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with serious medical conditions. The event may have exceeded its goal of $350,000, the release said.

The annual convoy raises money to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation fulfill its charitable mission. On Mother’s Day 2016, ImageFIRST Lancaster associates participated in the program, whose purpose is close to the hearts of its employees. ImageFIRST also donates time and resources to other leading charitable causes nationwide, including the March of Dimes and Habitat for Humanity.
