ImageFIRST Staff Cook for NC Charity

Eight ImageFIRST associates in Charlotte, NC, recently pitched in to prepare a meal for guests at a Ronald McDonald House (RMDH). The home provides lodging for families with children who are undergoing treatments in nearby hospitals, according to a news release.

For more than 40 years, McDonald’s Corp. has sponsored the guest homes in many cities as a charitable effort to help families in need stay near the healthcare facility while their child is receiving care. ImageFIRST locations nationwide also support RMDH, including donations of laundry services for bed and bath linens.

The Charlotte volunteers prepared a meal that included Chicken Alfredo, Italian bread with garlic/butter and broccoli and carrots with cheese. The meal also included blueberry and cherry cakes for dessert. “This event was the most moving that I have experienced at ImageFIRST,” said the ImageFIRST office manager, who was not named. “When we had downtime for the meal, we were given a tour of the house and listened to many stories about what the RMDH does for our community.”
