Recently, the President of JENSEN USA, Simon Nield, announced that the one of the world’s leading suppliers of equipment to the heavy-duty laundry industry is growing at its only US facility in Lynn Haven, FL. JENSEN USA operates out of a 100,000 square foot fully air conditioned plant and employs over 200 individuals.

“Thanks in part to the help of the Bay Economic Development Alliance (EDA),  Enterprise Florida, the Bay County Board of County Commissioners, the City of Lynn Haven and Gulf Power Company, we are now considering the next phase of our expansion which may include adding to our manufacturing facility,” said Nield.

JENSEN USA committed to creating 25 jobs over a two year period, but Nield announced that they’ve already created 26 new jobs in just this year alone.

“This is a great example of why business retention efforts are so important to the mission of the EDA,” said EDA Chairman, Clint Mizell. “When your local industry is growing, then you know you have a healthy business climate. We are grateful for these new manufacturing jobs.”
