TRSA associate member Lapauw USA LLC, Park City, UT, recently announced the hiring of two laundry industry veterans, Joseph Amaral and James “J.B.” Marquette. The two new hires each have the title of regional sales director, and are responsible for business development, customer relations and industry advocacy in a variety of industry segments in the Western and Eastern United States, respectively.

Amaral brings more than a decade-and-a-half of industry experience and sales success to his new role as regional sales director for the Western United States for Lapauw. He has a wealth of laundry machinery sales, laundry planning and customer support experience from his time with G.A. Braun, Chicago Dryer, Whirlpool and, most recently, RAMCO. Amaral is known as a dynamic, results-oriented leader with a strong track record of performance in new business development and customer service, the release noted.

Marquette is known by his colleagues and customers as an accomplished professional with more than 20 years of sales, management and customer service experience, primarily in the linen, uniform and facility services industry. Marquette’s previous experiences and successes at Industrial Towel Supply, Crothall, Nixon Uniform Service, Venus Textiles and others will make him an effective advocate and partner for Lapauw’s growing portfolio of customers in the Eastern United States.

“All of us at Lapauw are very excited to have Joseph and J.B. joining our team,” said David Bernstein, president of Lapauw USA. “They are experienced, knowledgeable and respected, and they bring a breadth and depth of industry experience that will greatly benefit both our customers and our global colleagues. I have no doubt that they will make great contributions to Lapauw’s reputation, market share and long-term success, and I am looking forward to working with both of them.”
