Larson Announces Retirement at Alsco

Steve Larson, vice president of Alsco’s North American Linen Division, recently announced that he plans to retire at the end of 2018. Larson revealed the news at a recent North American Division regional managers meeting at Alsco’s international headquarters in Salt Lake City, according to a news release. To honor his contributions to the industry, Larson will receive the TRSA Operator Lifetime Achievement Award during the Annual Awards Dinner on Oct. 17, in conjunction with the TRSA Annual Conference at The Meritage Resort & Spa, Napa, CA.

Larson began his career working odd jobs at Alsco’s Portland, OR, branch in 1968. He has held many positions at Alsco and advanced to vice president of the North American Division in 2006. Alsco has seen tremendous growth during his tenure, the release noted.

Jim Ginnetti has been promoted to vice president, North American Division, effective Jan. 1, 2019. Ginnetti has been with Alsco for more than 34 years. He has held many positions throughout his career, most recently as a regional manager for branches in the northwestern United States.

Additionally, Jim Kearns’ role at Alsco has expanded. He will now serve as the executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer, effective immediately. His added responsibilities include overseeing the company’s engineering and sales and marketing groups. Kearns has been with Alsco for more than 25 years, and has held many positions throughout his career. He most recently served as the company’s vice president of finance and CFO.
