From Nebraska to New York, laundry operators this season are donating cleaning services to charity events. Keeping hundreds of people warmer this season, both Ideal Linen Supply and Cleaners and Bates Troy Inc. have teamed up with partners to provide coats for adults, children and babies in need of winter garments.

Bates Troy, Binghamton, NY, and The Family Enrichment Network exceeded their goal of collecting 1,500 gently used winter coats, according to a local news report. The holiday total currently stands at 2,513, says Bates Troy, and they expect to clean another 500 coats.

Ideal Linen, Scottsbluff, NE, teamed with Cedar Canyon Elementary School and Fresh Foods to accept donations of coats, mittens, hats and scarfs for anyone in need, too. Ideal Linen cleans the coats before delivering them to children at Cedar Canyon Elementary or the local senior center.
