Leonard Hires Corporate Controller

Leonard Automatics Inc., Denver, NC, recently hired Lon Walters as the company’s corporate controller, according to a news release. Walters has more than three decades of experience working in manufacturing companies ranging from $2 million to $120 million in sales.

Walters began his career with the international “Big Four” CPA firm, Ernst & Young, doing audit, tax and consulting work. Walters’ experience brings plant controllership, accounting and product costing experience to Leonard.

He will help Leonard keep a solid financial position as the company continues to grow, the release said.
