Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, Santa Monica, CA, recently released a video on its YouTube channel detailing its efforts at water conservation in the wake of the drought in California. The video places a heavy focus on its laundry operation and a recently installed water reclamation system from TRSA associate member AquaRecycle, Marietta, GA.

Bob Lipinski, director of engineering, Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, takes viewers on a tour of the hotel’s laundry facility and specifically focuses on its AquaRecycle system. Lipinski says that, “Personally, I think the AquaRecycle system is awesome. The components of a microprocessor, filtration, tanks and pumps is just fantastic. The simplicity of it and what it’s done for our conservation efforts is incredible. I can see this system installed in many facilities, residential as well as commercial, all over the world.”

The video says that the AquaRecycle system will save a total of 4.5 million gallons per year. To view the full video, click here.
