Pellerin Milnor Corp., Kenner, LA, recently announced a new appointment and a promotion involving two key management posts at the company, according to a news release.

Andre Blanc was tapped to serve as director of strategic accounts. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the linen, uniform and facility services industry. Blanc also brings extensive knowledge of laundry operations and workflow processes to Milnor, the release said. Before joining Milnor, Blanc spent eight years at Softrol Systems Inc., where he served as business development director. Additional experience includes work in various roles with laundry chemical companies. He has authored numerous published articles on topics including automation, hygiene and laundry processes, the release said.

At Milnor, Blanc will oversee both the delivery of total plant solutions to the corporate account and expanding relationships with the hospitality, healthcare and industrial segments of textile services.

In another announcement, Darrell Redler was named as the company’s new marketing director for laundry systems. An 18-year veteran of Milnor, Redler’s new responsibilities will expand to include offering support for the company’s regional sales managers, dealers and customers. He’ll provide analytical reviews of automated and semi-automated systems, including sizing calculations, utility and labor savings as well as return on investment analyses.

Redler joined Milnor in 1999 as marketing coordinator. Over the next few years, he earned an MBA from the University of New Orleans and completed TRSA’s Production Management Institute. In 2007, he became project manager for Milnor’s Application Engineering Department.
