TRSA’s Maintenance Management Institute (MMI) on Nov. 4-6 in Dallas drew 48 engineers, maintenance managers, plant managers and management executives to address a range of maintenance management and troubleshooting issues involving plant and equipment.

The yearly program, held at the Embassy Suites, also addressed a number of safety issues as a key element of MMI. Other issues discussed included budgeting, technology, human resources, communication, documentation and recruiting/staffing.

Attendees and a faculty of seven maintenance experts dedicated seven hours of the 2.5-day event to applications, case studies and sharing of attendee problems and prospective solutions.

A facilitated open forum on Nov. 6 generated lively discussions on maintenance issues, including preventive/predictive maintenance, lockout-tagout compliance, boiler problems, folder static and much more. For details, contact TRSA’s Bill Mann at bmann@trsa.org.
