ARCO/Murray and Eric Brady, president of Brady Linen Services LLC, recently confirmed the completion of a new 44,000-square-foot plant in Nassau, Bahamas.

“They helped build the new Brady plant in the Bahamas,” said Brady, a Las Vegas-based operator, speaking of ARCO/Murray. “It is a beautiful facility.” The plant will serve the hospitality market in the Nassau area.

ARCO/Murray partnered with SMG Construction, a building contractor based in Nassau, to deliver a turnkey design/build solution for Brady Linen, according to a news release.

The scope of the project included architectural and engineering services, permitting, building construction, electrical and process mechanical installation, and final equipment utility connections. The project was completed in time for the opening of a new resort property located in the Cable Beach area.

Steiner-Atlantic provided the equipment package. Machinery for the new plant includes an E-Tech rail/sorting system, Milnor washroom systems and Chicago Dryer finishing equipment. The mechanical room features Cleaver-Brooks boilers, a Kemco Systems process water system and Ingersoll Rand air compressors.

ARCO/Murray’s Brett Garrett served as project manager and Dennis Bunce served as project superintendent for the job.
