Next Generation Takes Over Leadership at Kannegiesser

Martin Kannegiesser recently stepped down as chairman of Kannegiesser at the start of 2021. Moving forward, Martin’s daughter, Tina Kannegiesser, will lead the company that has 2,000 employees and revenues of more than €400 million ($490.4 million), according to a news release.

Based in Vlotho, Germany, Kannegiesser is active in 54 countries and has 16 subsidiaries of its own, whose work has been coordinated by Tina Kannegiesser for some time. She will be supported and accompanied by three non-family directors: Engelbert Heinz (technology), Thomas Doppmeier (business administration and finance) and Otto Burger (marketing and sales).

The company started in 1948 and has developed from a pure machine supplier to a technological partner of the linen, uniform and facility services industry. The company has a UK manufacturing base in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
