Paris Cos., Balfurd Named to ‘Top 100 in Central PA’

Paris Cos., DuBois, PA, recently was named for the sixth consecutive year as one of the Top 100 companies in Central Pennsylvania, according to a news release. Balfurd Healthcare and Linen Rentals, Tipton, PA, also made the list of prominent businesses for 2015.

The Top 100 program is sponsored by Pennsylvania Business Central (PBC) magazine, a leading business publication in the state. The program has highlighted high-performance companies in Central Pennsylvania for 20 years, the release said. 

Paris Cos. President and CEO David Stern also earned a spot on the magazine’s list of the Top 100 People in Central Pennsylvania in 2015. In the list and an accompanying article that appeared in the Feb. 26 issue of PBC, Stern emphasized Paris Cos.’ commitment not only to growth, but also to public service.

“We are striving to be a sustainable company that not only provides stable job opportunities but also contributes positively to our various communities,” said Stern, who’s led Paris Cos. to 37 consecutive years of revenue growth. “The Top 100 Awards confirm we are moving in the right direction.
