Penn Emblem, Philadelphia, is honoring National Safety month by telling the industry how they practice safety.

The company has, “teamed up with the National Safety Council to focus on reducing the leading causes of injury and death,” according to a news release. One of the ways that Penn is promoting safety for their staff is by distributing a fact sheet each week to every employee that includes a checklist of safety best practices.

The theme for this year’s National Safety Council program is “What I live for.” The organization said the theme is fitting because, “Every passion, whether it’s the beach or bike riding, gives us a reason to practice safe behavior to live for what matters.”
