Pomeranz Pens Book on Classic Hoops Season

Jim Pomeranz, a former TRSA board member and currently Southeast regional sales manager for White Conveyors Inc., recently published a book titled, 1973-74 Reliving the NC State Wolfpack's Title Run.

The book tells the tale of the 1973-’74 North Carolina State basketball team that won the NCAA title. It’s not an ordinary history looking back at that season; it’s written from the perspective of Pomeranz, who at the time was sports editor of the college newspaper, the Technician.

The book reviews the season as it happened with stories written by students. “It was a lot of fun to write, says Pomeranz. “I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed living and reliving the greatest-ever season of NC State basketball.” Included is a post-season interview that Pomeranz conducted with David Thompson, who was named national player of the year for that season.
