Prestige Acquires Carnegie Accounts

Prestige Industries recently announced that it has acquired hospitality accounts in the New York area from Carnegie Linen, which will expand its focus on its valet business, according to a news release. Carnegie’s management will provide support during the handoff to ensure a smooth transition, the release said.

“We welcome Carnegie’s customers into the Prestige family,” said John O’Brien, COO of Prestige Industries. “We eagerly anticipate continuing and building these customer relationships.”

Eric Schweitzer, president of Carnegie Linen, added that the hospitality laundry industry has changed over time, and Prestige is prepared to provide outstanding service to Carnegie customers.

“We thank our linen customers for many years of service,” Schweitzer said. “The hotel linen market has evolved tremendously in the past two decades, and we believe Prestige is uniquely well positioned as the only hospitality laundry service provider that can handle significant volume with excellent care and service.”
