PureStar Exec. Discusses Hotel Market, COVID-19 Impact

Alex Dixon recently was profiled by Hotel Business magazine to discuss his recent move from hotel-casino executive to the role of West Region president of PureStar, Las Vegas, as well as the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the company’s operations.

In the wide-ranging interview, Dixon noted the steps the company is taking at its facilities and on the route to protect its employees and customers. “The coronavirus is an evolving situation with still many unknowns,” Dixon said. “At all of our facilities, we have taken proactive and precautionary steps in accordance with the CDC (U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the World Health Organization (WHO) while complying with government mandates to reduce the impact of COVID-19. We will continue to exceed industry recommended measures to prepare our facilities, readying resources and instituting best practices gleaned from our expertise in managing affected linens during infectious outbreaks. These measures include steps to protect our employees, our customers and the communities we serve to ensure their health and safety in the workplace during this time.”
