Rentwear Inc. is celebrating its 45th anniversary as a leading supplier in the linen, uniform and facility services industry. Roger Clay and James Brown founded this family-owned and operated company on July 19, 1972, in North Canton, OH, according to a news release.

For nearly half a century, Rentwear has delivered excellence in uniforms, floor mats, table linen, toweling and restroom supplies to more than 2,000 customers across Northeast Ohio, the release said.  The Rentwear team works closely with customers to develop personalized identity and rental programs to fit the individual safety, hygiene and branding needs of each customer – on a delivery schedule that suits their needs.

Over time, the Rentwear team has expanded its plant five times as the company has grown from a single route at its inception to 16 routes today. Rentwear’s expansion has come through both new sales and the acquisition of 13 other local laundries in Northeast Ohio.

Today, Roger Clay and his three sons Dan, Chris and Tadd operate Rentwear. Clay’s service to the industry extends to nearly 55 years. The company is proud of its great staff of 75 local people and its service to the Northeast Ohio community.
