Route Rep Gets City Council Seat
Christopher Adams, a U.S. Army veteran and route service representative from Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply, was appointed to fill a recently vacated seat on the Duncannon, PA, City Council, according to news reports.
The Duncannon (PA) Vacancy Board appointed Adams to the position in a Nov. 22 meeting that lasted just six minutes, according to the reports. The Vacancy Board voted 4-3 in favor of Adams, over fellow candidate Mike Wolfersberger, a local electrician and business owner.
The seat opened when Ronald Leonhard resigned from the council in October due to health concerns. To read the full article, click here.
