SC Water Authority Recognizes Cintas

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa), the local water-treatment authority based in Greenville, SC, recently announced a list of 45 area companies that were recognized with “Compliance Excellency” awards for going a full year with no permit violations. Among the honorees was Cintas Corp., along with an array of manufacturing, agricultural and service businesses, according to news reports.

“On behalf of ReWA, the pretreatment department would like to recognize the extraordinary work that these industries have contributed this year to ensure compliance excellence,” said Joel Jones, pretreatment manager for the utility that serves some 400,000 industrial, commercial and residential customers in Greenville County and parts of Anderson, Spartanburg, Pickens and Laurens counties. “We are grateful for the unwavering support from these industries that play a key role in communitywide environmental protection.”
