Sigmatex-Lanier Elevates Maqbool to President

Sigmatex-Lanier Textiles, New York, recently announced that Khurram Maqbool has been promoted to president of the company, effective July 1. Maqbool joined Sigmatex-Lanier in 2010 and has served as executive vice president, according to a news release.

The company’s current president, Jaggi Anand, will assume the role and duties of executive chairman of Sigmatex-Lanier. Anand founded Sigmatex Inc. in 1976 and has since served as its president. His career in the textile industry has spanned more than 50 years.
