Softrol Hires Smith to Lead Sales & Marketing

Dave Smith recently joined the staff at Softrol Systems Inc., Acworth, GA, as the company’s director of sales & marketing. Reporting directly to the CEO, Smith will oversee all sales and marketing activities and will be an important member of the company’s executive board, according to a news release.

Smith brings more than 30 years of industry experience in promoting industrial laundry equipment, with a focus on customer needs and after-sales support. Customer associations, problem solving, product knowledge, and the ability to lead and strategize are just a few of Smith’s strengths, the release noted. He will be instrumental with brand-campaign development and new-product initiatives, as well as providing Softrol’s sales team with strategic direction and insights.

Smith has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in computer science from Bowling Green State University.
