Sue Rose Wright Pellerin Passes
Sue Rose Wright Pellerin, 84, wife of Pellerin Milnor co-founder, Norvin Leroy Pellerin, passed away on Oct. 23. Mrs. Pellerin was the former Pellerin Milnor Corp. first secretary and treasurer.
“She was the best,” said Katie Pellerin Furtado, advertising coordinator, Pellerin Milnor, and Mrs. Pellerin’s granddaughter. “Without her understanding and sacrifice, Norvin would have not been able to be as successful as he was.”
Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Norvin Pellerin, Sue is survived by a brother James Luther Wright Jr. and a sister Vera Louise Thibaut; children: James Willis Pellerin (Stacy); Julie Pellerin Bukrey (Charles); Curtis Allen Pellerin (Maria); Renée Pellerin Gordon (Robert); 13 grandchildren: Anne Bukrey Moyer (Mike); Dr. Suzanne Bukrey Kaminski (Tom); Brock Elliot Pellerin (Lindsey); Casey Pellerin Westguard (Mark); Lauren Bukrey Laramie (Mike); Corrie Wright Pellerin; Katherin Pellerin Furtado (Stephen); Jean-Marc Pellerin (Melissa); Henri Albert Pellerin; Caroline Blair Pellerin; Jason William Gordon; Jamie Favre Pellerin; Alexandra Rose Gordon; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at St. Charles Presbyterian Church in New Orleans on Oct. 29, followed by a funeral service and private interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, South Louisiana Chapter (3445 North Causeway Blvd., Ste. 902, Metairie, LA, 70002) or The Pellerin Foundation, which awards merit-based college scholarships (P.O. Box 400, Kenner, LA, 70063).
