TRSA is hosting a three-hour supplier-partner-specific session on March 29 that will focus on advocacy issues and policies that impact the supply chain. COVID-19 has hit the industry hard and caused supply chain problems, labor shortages and other strains. As a result, supplier partners are finding themselves having challenging dialogues with clients.

Kate Zabriskie, a 20-year trainer and workshop facilitator, will lead a customized workshop that addresses developing skills for having difficult conversations with your customers around such issues as delivery troubles, labor shortages and more. This two-hour interactive workshop will utilize industry examples to help attendees acquire the tools to successfully navigate difficult conversations associated with those challenges.

Topics will include:

  • Understanding Areas that Stress Customer Relationships
  • Holding Brain-Friendly Conversations
  • Showing Empathy
  • De-Escalating

The supplier partner program will conclude with a networking reception offering opportunities for supplier partners to network with other industry executives. The 12th Annual Legislative Conference & Industry Awards Dinner kicks off the next morning with an opportunity for supplier partners to meet with operator members for committee meetings, keynote speakers, Hill Day, and the Industry Awards Reception and Dinner.
