Texcare International Sets New Exhibitor Record

Texcare International 2016 will host a new record number of exhibitors, according to a news release. A total of 319 companies from 28 countries – over 20% more than at the previous Texcare in 2012 – have registered to present their latest products and innovations at the trade show in Frankfurt, Germany, from June 11-15.

“I am delighted about the increase in the size of Texcare, an outstanding result that underscores its significance as the world’s leading trade fair for modern textile care,” said Wolfgang Marzin, chairman of the board of management of Messe Frankfurt, the show’s organizer. “All market leaders are here in Frankfurt to launch their innovations onto the world market.” The five-day show will feature laundry, dry-cleaning and ironing technology, to detergents and disinfectants, as well as bed and table linen, to workwear, logistics and IT.

The number of international exhibitors has risen again so that more than two thirds of companies (68 %) come from outside Germany. Particular growth in international exhibitor numbers comes from Italy, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Turkey, India and China. Nations represented for the first time include Iran, Lithuania, Pakistan, Thailand and the Ukraine. The number of German exhibitors has also risen from 95 in 2012 to 103 this year.
