Tingue, Brown & Co., Saddle Brook, NJ, recently named an executive with a long track record in high-profile jobs to oversee the company’s human resources (HR) department, according to a news release.

Douglas Green, Tingue’s new vice president of human resources, will work with an eye toward integrating HR functions among the company’s six facilities across North America. He’ll seek to create a coordinated team, advancing a unified strategy, with a consistent approach from one facility to the next, said David Tingue, CEO of the company founded in 1902.

“We recognize the importance of taking care of the people who take care of our customers, and Doug brings a high level of success in employee engagement, development and retention,” Tingue said. “He also brings an insider’s view of the regulatory challenges facing businesses today. I’m very happy to welcome Doug to the team.”

The Tingue, Brown organization includes: Tingue, a laundry products supplier; MODRoto, a plastics rotational molder and supplier of carts for commercial laundries and other businesses; and TBR Associates, a consulting firm.

Green, a Chicago-based attorney, has past experience as the employment lawyer for the U.S. House of Representatives. He recently served as vice president of human resources at Guaranteed Rate, a $500 million lending firm with 2,300 employees in 33 states. He also held a similar post at the Merchandise Mart, with 600 employees in eight cities across North America. Click www.tingue.com for more information.
