Freshman Sen. Mike Rounds (R-SD) recently paid a visit to Servall Uniform and Linen Supply in Rapid City, SD.
TRSA arranged the visit to introduce Sen. Rounds to the commercial laundry industry. Sen. Rounds emphasized the importance of the industry getting involved in the public policy process and recognized TRSA efforts. “As the only organization representing the textile services industry, TRSA’s efforts to reach out to congressional members is highly effective and important,” Rounds said of the association.
Sen. Rounds received a personalized tour of the facility, learning about the laundry process from sorting to delivery. The senator also met and spoke with Servall staff on the laundry floor. Sen. Rounds was impressed with the facility, and the tour increased his knowledge of the textile services industry. “We at Servall appreciate Senator Rounds’ visit,” said Brad Dudley, president of Servall Uniform and Linen. “TRSA did a great job setting the event up.”
The tour of the Servall plant and visit by Sen. Rounds is another great example of the productive relationships that TRSA cultivates with members of Congress on behalf of the industry.
