TRSA Hosts Primer on Upcoming Legislative Meetings

Kevin Schwalb, vice president of government relations for TRSA, recently gave an update to Legislative Conference attendees on what to expect for their upcoming meetings on March 31 on Capitol Hill.

During an hour-long presentation on March 22, Schwalb gave a rundown of the schedule for the upcoming 12th Annual Legislative Conference & Industry Awards Dinner. He also briefed members on key issues of importance to the linen, uniform and facility services industry that members should discuss during their meetings with legislators and key staff members. Lincoln Clapper of Advocacy Associates, a Washington, DC-based firm, joined Schwalb on the webinar to discuss the process for the Hill Day meetings, which will take place both in-person and virtually. Clapper gave an overview of the system that Legislative Conference attendees will use to view their meeting agenda and information.
