TRSA Members Focus of NJ Report

A recent article in a New Jersey business publication looked at the growing importance of commercial launderers to the healthcare marketplace. The article specifically focused on a pair of TRSA members, Unitex Textile Rental Services, Mount Vernon, NY; and CleanTex Inc., Linden, NJ.

The article pointed out that recent trends in the industry, such as hospital-acquired infections, increased outpatient care, and mergers and acquisitions among healthcare providers, have contributed to an increased importance placed on commercial laundries that service this sector. The report looked at how Unitex and CleanTex have invested in both infection-control procedures and new technologies, among other things, to service this sector.
