TRSA Partners with ARTA on Presentations and Resources for Upcoming Conference

TRSA Vice President of Government Relations & Certification Kevin Schwalb and representatives from TRSA’s Healthcare Committee including Mike Lang, Unitex; and Liz Remillong, Crothall, will present sessions on Workwear in Healthcare: Linen Loss and Hidden Health Dangers and the Emerging Long-Term Care Market at the American Reusable Textile Association (ARTA) 2018 Education Conference scheduled for July 25-27 at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, Ontario.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with ARTA, including financial support of its life-cycle analysis research,” said TRSA Chair David Potack, Unitex. “The ARTA Conference offers TRSA an opportunity to share its knowledge and resources and highlight its investment in outreach to linen, uniform and facility services consumers including partnering with infection-control professionals through APIC, and advertising and exhibiting at healthcare-related conferences.”

TRSA sessions will be led by representatives from companies with multiple Hygienically Clean Healthcare laundry plants Unitex and Crothall and include:

ARTA’s Education Conference will focus on research, trends and issues to help promote the benefits of reusable textiles, as well as tabletop exhibits and an optional tour of the HLS Linen Services laundry. The program content ranges from best practices to new technology and research on extending linen life, controlling C. diff, chemistry selection, laundering cubicle curtains, and reusables vs. disposables life-cycle analysis.
