Register for TRSA’s 12th Annual Legislative Conference & Annual Industry Awards

Eleven TRSA member operator and supplier partner members’ video work has been honored with a 2022 TRSA Industry Award for such productions, to be acknowledged at a March 30 dinner at TRSA’s 12th Annual Legislative Conference & Annual Industry Awards in Washington, DC.

This competition enables operator and supplier partner members to have their videos judged for creativity and messaging alongside those of industry peers. Fellow TRSA members rate the effectiveness of videos on how well they fulfill their intended purpose, whether purely informative, such as showcasing a company or its employees or products or services; or technical: describing capabilities, processes or product features such as training for customers.

A total of 35 individuals from member companies, mostly members of TRSA’s F&B/Hospitality, Healthcare and Industrial/Uniform committees, participated in judging the 2022 winners. They are listed below with links to their honored YouTube videos:

Operators:

Century Linen & Uniform, Gloversville, NY

HandCraft Services, Richmond, VA

Huebsch Services, Eau Claire, WI

NDC Mats, Middlesex, NJ

Service Uniform, San Antonio, TX

Unitex Healthcare Laundry Services, Elmsford, NY

Supplier Partners:

ARCO Murray Design Build, Chicago

Colmac Industries, Colville, WA

Performance Matters, West Columbia, SC

R.W. Martin Co., Kent, OH

TRSA Industry Awards will be presented at a dinner at the Legislative Conference, scheduled for March 30-31 at the Westin Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, VA. In addition to the video accolades, also to be acknowledged at the dinner will be winners of the Above and Beyond Service, Clean Green Sustainability, Community Service, Diversity Recognition and SafeTRSA Safety honors (previously announced) and Best Plant award (to be announced shortly).

The conference enables members to make their voices heard and educate legislators with insightful stories regarding the industry’s cleanliness, sustainability and safety records, and impact on jobs and local economies. Members will highlight the industry’s role in mitigating COVID-19 and the importance of designating linen, uniform and facility services as essential.

For member supplier partners, the event begins March 29 with a two-hour workshop on developing skills for having difficult conversations with your customers, using examples from the industry. Meetings with legislators are slated for March 31.

On the afternoon of the March 30 awards dinner, members are welcome to attend TRSA committee meetings, maximizing your membership value by prompting TRSA to act on the operational and management issues that benefit you most. These will take place in a pair of two-hour blocks: five different committees will meet from noon to 2 p.m. and five others from 2 to 4 p.m.

Also before the dinner (which starts with a 5:45 p.m. reception): keynote speaker Reid Wilson, national correspondent for The Hill newspaper, frequently seen on CNN, MSNBC, C-SPAN and other national outlets; and a Hill Day issue briefing.
