Aramark in Indianapolis and Southern Textiles in Alexandria, LA, recently completed build-outs of their respective facilities, according to news releases from ARCO/Murray, which oversaw both projects.

The Indianapolis plant of Aramark Uniform & Career Apparel involved a complete “turnkey” solution involving design, permitting and construction services, the release said. The 7,900-square-foot expansion included new loading docks, an additional site entrance driveway, landscaping and new site lighting. The plant’s storm sewer infrastructure was also upgraded. ARCO/Murray’s Rick Guth and John Sperring served respectively as project manager and project superintendent.

The Alexandria, LA, plant featured 21,200-square-foot build out of a new healthcare laundry facility in that city. The scope of this project was a complete design-build solution by ARCO, including architectural, engineering, permitting and construction services, the release said.

The new laundry has doubled the production capacity of Southern Textiles and will accommodate that company’s recent growth. A multi-phase construction schedule was used to relocate equipment in the old facility to the new laundry with no lost production time. The equipment was provided by Pellerin Milnor Machinery Supply Co. ARCO’s Guth served as project manager, while Russ Hagen was project superintendent. Click to www.arcomurray.comto learn more.
