The No. 5 UniFirst Chevrolet SS returns to the NASCAR track for two races in October. UniFirst Corp., Wilmington, MA, is a primary sponsor for Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 5 car driven by Kasey Kahne for the 2017 season, according to a news release.

The upcoming races for the UniFirst Chevy will take place at the Kansas Speedway for the Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m. EDT, and then again at the Martinsville Speedway in Virginia for the First Data 500 on Oct. 29, also at 3 p.m. EDT. Both races will be televised on NBCSN.

“There is so much excitement in the air for these UniFirst-sponsored races, with our 14,000 employee team partners and millions of UniFirst uniform wearers having the opportunity to, once again, cheer Kasey and the entire No. 5 team on to victory,” said Adam Soreff, director of marketing and communications for UniFirst. “We’re proud to be a partner of Hendrick Motorsports, one of the premier teams in professional auto racing, and we want to wish Kasey and the entire crew best of luck in Kansas and Virginia.”

Last year, UniFirst and Hendrick Motorsports announced an eight-year agreement making the uniform, workwear, and facility services company a primary sponsor of the No. 5 car for select NASCAR races and an associate sponsor for all races each season through the year 2023. UniFirst is also the official workwear provider for Hendrick Motorsports and sister company Hendrick Automotive Group, which is the largest privately held automotive retail organization in the United States.
