WATS Hill Day: Join the Conversation!

The Wisconsin Association of Textile Services (WATS) will host a Legislative Conference on March 15-16. Kevin Schwalb, TRSA’s vice president of government relations, will meet with WATS members at the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) headquarters in Madison, WI, on Wednesday, March 15, to review issues that will be discussed during legislative visits the following day.

On Wednesday afternoon, there will be one in-person meeting with legislators. The WMC Tax Council will give an update on tax issues impacting the industry. Various state legislators are expected to stop in, allowing WATS members the opportunity to share their point of view on issues in a relaxed setting. A reception will follow the issue briefing update.

The next morning attendees will have breakfast and a final brief at the WMC offices before heading over to the state capitol building for three scheduled in-person legislative meetings during the morning. This opportunity is one of the best ways for industry members to talk with their representatives and share stories about the linen, uniform and facility services industry.
