Webinar Provides Tips on Prepping for Workplace Investigations

TRSA recently continued its monthly webinar series with an hour-long presentation titled “Defending and Protecting against Government Investigations and Audits.” The webinar was hosted by Scott Kamins, a labor and employment law expert, and principal at Offit Kurman, Attorneys at Law, Columbia, MD.

Kamins focused on the following types of investigations during the webinar:

  • S. Department of Labor (DOL) investigations, including violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
  • S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) audits and raids
  • Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting and investigations
