Westex, Cone Denim Team Up on FR Workwear

Westex by Milliken and Cone Denim (International Textile Group Inc.) recently announced an exclusive partnership to provide innovative flame resistant (FR) denim apparel fabrics. The companies plan to merge fashion with protective and reliable industrial-workwear fabrics.

Consumer insights indicate a lack of guaranteed flame resistant (FR) denim to provide the same comfort and style of everyday denim clothing, including reduced shrinkage and a very soft hand. The FR fabrics will provide employees with a selection of stylish denim apparel with a broad array of options for color and performance qualities – all without sacrificing safety.
