Current Projects
Long-Term Care Promotion

TRSA is appealing to these providers with a marketing and sales campaign that highlights key messages about the costs and challenges of maintaining on-premises laundries (OPLs). While the economic argument for outsourcing linen and laundry is convincing—7-digit annual savings are attainable for many facilities—the campaign portrays revenue and cost pressures on them from a variety of sources, building their conscientiousness about their margins to prompt them to control all expenses, including linen and laundry. Campaign ads drive them to a webpage that enables them to calculate savings from OPL shutdown and find a local TRSA member that can serve their reusable textile needs.

Members can:

  • Direct these prospects to a TRSA webpage to quickly calculate annual savings from shutting down their OPLs
  • Use a whitepaper to explain why the time is right for this change
  • Leave behind on sales calls a booklet that summarizes the whitepaper points
Market Survey/Benchmarking

Soon to be published are results of a 2019 market survey that covered demographics, market drivers and dynamics, and changing customer expectations. Respondents identified products and services they market and forecast their sales. A 2020 followup will report financial information, examining revenue sources and primary cost drivers.
