EPA Officials Update Industry on Potential PFAS Regs

TRSA recently hosted a webinar featuring a pair of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) officials to update the industry on the potential for per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) regulations. More than 100 linen, uniform and facility services executives attended the presentation.

UniFirst Raises Nearly $50K for New England Charities

UniFirst Corp., Wilmington, MA, recently held its annual Ronald D. Croatti Memorial Golf Tournament at Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, MA. The tournament raised nearly $50,000 this year and attracted more than 90 golfers and 30 corporate sponsors. The funds will be donated to five local charities and bring the total amount UniFirst has raised throughout the years to more than $200,000, according to a news release.

JENSEN Announces CFO Succession Plans

Markus Schalch, JENSEN-GROUP’s CFO, has decided to retire from his current position early next year. As a result of Schalch’s retirement, JENSEN’s Board of Directors announced the appointment of Doga Cagdas as the company’s new CFO, effective Oct. 1, according to a news release.
