Merit-based College/Technical Institution Scholarship Application

• I, the undersigned applicant, acknowledge and agree to the terms of the scholarship application referenced above (https://www.trsa.org/membership/scholarships/application-requirements-all-scholarships/).
• I hereby grant TRERT, its representatives, and affiliated organizations use of any information and documents I have provided with this application for purposes that may include but are not limited to: data tracking and program management, donor relations, communications and publications, and any other purpose TRERT may deem necessary.
• I agree to the release of my contact information and any supporting documentation to the sponsors of the scholarships provided by TRERT if awarded; I further acknowledge that I may be contacted by donors and/or representatives of TRERT at a later date.
• I understand and acknowledge that all communications and notifications regarding this scholarship application will be conducted via e-mail to the e-mail address I have provided and it is my obligation to keep my contact information up to date at all times.
• I understand and acknowledge that submitting a scholarship application does not guarantee a scholarship award.
• I understand and acknowledge that if awarded, my scholarship funds may be forfeited if I am found to not meet the minimum eligibility criteria as stated by TRERT now or at any time before funds are awarded.
• I certify that I have not falsified any part of this application, nor has anyone other than myself (the applicant) completed the scholarship application and I acknowledge and understand that TRERT expressly reserves the right to disqualify me if it believes in good faith that all or part of my application is incorrect, inaccurate, has been plagiarized, or has been prepared by anyone other than myself.
• I acknowledge and agree that TRERT reserves the right to modify or terminate scholarships at any time for any reason in its sole discretion, with or without notice, and that I am solely responsible for any state or federal tax liability in association with acceptance of a scholarship.
• I acknowledge and agree that if TRERT in good faith determines that I have acted in a manner that (i) is misleading or incorrect, (ii) is inconsistent with TRERT requirements, (iii) reflects poorly on or may damage the name, reputation, credibility or goodwill of TRERT, (iii) could result in victimization or harassment, (iv) could lead to criminal or civil liability, or (v) could be reasonably found to be offensive, obscene, threatening, abusive or defamatory, I may be required to forfeit the scholarship.
• I acknowledge and agree that TRERT makes no promises or representations regarding the impact that any scholarship I am awarded will have on other scholarships I have receive.
