Theresa Garcia proudly serves as Chief Operating Officer for Division Laundry, a third-generation family business. Division Laundry celebrates over 80 years of serving local hospitals and hotels. Theresa is responsible for plant operations, fleet, and other administrative tasks.
Theresa, along with her family, has contributed to the community by donating PPE to local facilities, including schools and healthcare facilities. They have also contributed to local school supply drives. In 2018, Theresa and her family received a Family Business Excellence Award from The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. They were also honored to have been recognized with the Corazon De San Antonio Award for 2020 by the San Antonio Business Journal.
In 2022, Division Laundry expanded its presence in Texas when it acquired facilities in Dallas and Houston, Texas.
Theresa is a proud alumna of St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. Theresa currently serves on the Strategic Planning Committee for TRSA.

John Highsmith has 39 years of expertise in healthcare and hospitality laundry operations and was named Laundry Manager of the Year in 1994 and 1996. He earned his CLLM and CHSP credentials and managed laundry operations nationwide. He served as VP and President of ALM chapters and worked as a sales representative for Pellerin Laundry Machinery Company. In 2005, he founded a consulting firm, optimizing laundry operations across the US and Canada. John’s passion for industry excellence drives his support for operational efficiency and compliance.

Samlane Ketevong is the Senior Director of Certification & Accreditation at TRSA, bringing over 20 years of experience in certification. Since joining TRSA in 2021, she has led the organization’s certification programs, including Clean Green, Hygienically Clean, and Safety and Health certifications. Samlane ensures these programs align with best practices in credentialing and accreditation and also serves as a Credentialing Specialist with the Institute for Credentialing Excellence.

Paul Lavallee has a career spanning over 30 years including 18 in the energy space serving clients in the mass markets and large commercial segments. With a background in strategy, product, sales, marketing, and channel development, Paul has seen the ups and downs of a volatile energy landscape. Paul joined Environ Energy a year ago and previously worked as Sales Director for Perch Energy. For more than a decade he served as National Sales Director at Constellation, during which time his sales teams and channels enrolled more than 1 million customers in fixed rate energy contracts, home warranty services, energy efficiency solutions, and more.

TJ (Anthony) Peterson, is the owner/operator of TJP Laundry Maintenance Solutions, with 25 years of healthcare linen experience. TJ has worked with small independent operators to large multi plant operations, always with the focus on safety, efficiency and cleanliness in his facilities. Having been on the maintenance side of inspections and certification programs over his career, TJ brings that experience to the TRSA certification process.

Natasha Rawjee is the Director of Marketing at American Dawn Inc. (ADI)—a multi-generational, family-owned leader in textile manufacturing and distribution, serving the healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and food & beverage industries.
As a next-generation executive, Natasha is driving ADI’s evolution by bridging tradition with transformation. She leads high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that tightly align marketing and sales, with a sharp focus on brand storytelling, design-led thinking, and a premium customer experience. Her leadership is also helping steer the company toward greater innovation and a stronger commitment to sustainability.
With a keen eye for modern branding and a deep understanding of operational strategy, Natasha brings a fresh, forward-thinking perspective to ADI’s legacy business. She is currently earning her MBA at UCLA Anderson, where she’s expanding her leadership toolkit and strategic acumen.

As the Vice President of Engineering at Environ, Chris leads the engineering team in developing a variety of infrastructure projects, including HVAC systems, controls, renewable energy, EV charging, demand response, co-generation, and lighting. Over the past eight years, he has worked in energy efficiency for large commercial and industrial customers, with a particular focus on critical infrastructure for hospitals, data centers, and biotech sectors. In his previous roles at Fairbanks Energy Services and Mantis Innovation, Chris was responsible for developing and planning large-scale, multi-site infrastructure projects, including lighting, HVAC systems, controls, and renewable and sustainable solutions. He also managed project funding and execution. Over the past seven years, he has overseen projects totaling $25 million across 15 states and over 200 customer locations.

Dan Sanchez, a seasoned professional with 36 years of industry expertise, has traversed diverse roles within the commercial landscape. A significant portion of his career was dedicated to Medline Industries, a global leader in manufacturing and distributing medical supplies. Serving as the VP of National Accounts, he collaborated with Healthcare Group Purchasing Organizations, Integrated Delivery Networks, and the Commercial laundry industry across the USA and Canada. His commitment extended further as a Board member for both TRSA and the American Reusable Textile Association.
Apart from his tenure at Medline, Dan ventured into diverse industries, taking the helm as the Chief Business Officer at Eleks, where he directed operations across North America for this Ukrainian-based Custom Software Development company. Subsequently, his journey led him to the role of VP of Sales and Marketing at Emerald Textiles in San Diego, immersing himself in the commercial laundry domain.
Presently, Dan has embarked on a new venture with the establishment of Sanchez Advisory Group. His company serves as a hub of knowledge and experience for all stakeholders within the Commercial Laundry business, connecting laundries, suppliers, and healthcare delivery networks. With a wealth of insight and a comprehensive understanding of the industry, Dan offers his expertise to propel businesses forward.

Kevin Schwalb is TRSA’s Vice President of Government Relations. He comes to TRSA after serving as a Presidential appointee of President George W. Bush to the Department of Labor. While at the Department of Labor, Schwalb worked directly for Labor Secretary Elaine Chow representing DOL to such stakeholders as congressional leaders, business leaders such as CEO’s of Fortune 50 companies as well as small businesses owners. Among the issues Kevin was involved in where Free Trade Agreements, Family and Medical Leave Act revisions and labor organization policy.
Prior to the Department of Labor Kevin was the Federal Legislative Director to the National Association of Home Builders for environmental policy dealing with such issues as the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act.
While at TRSA, Schwalb has defended the linen, uniform and facility services industry on many federal, state and city issues ranging from fighting President Obama’s Overtime proposal which would have cost the industry millions of dollars, updating healthcare linen regulations at the state level and enacting tax rebates saving laundry operators thousands of dollars annually. Schwalb was instrumental in leading the team that developed TRSA's certification programs: Clean Green and Hygienically Clean programs.

As a Navy veteran, Mike has spent 35+ years in the Healthcare field, learning the business from the ground up while working in the industry as an employee while going to college. He brings an earnest, honest, ethical approach to any task at hand, owing his professional success to everyone he has had the privilege of working for, and with throughout his career. That learning curve remains his privilege to this day.

Douglas has over 40 years of experience in the laundry industry which he is honored to say has opened the door to meet so many great people and participate in a wide variety of learning and giving opportunities.
He has published research in the Journal of Nature and Journal of Phytochemistry on plant chemistry. He also worked as a research chemist on a team that synthesized and patented laundry surfactants created from pine tree resin left over from the paper-making process. Douglas has worked as a Technical Development and Marketing Director for an industrial laundry chemical company, and as a Global Business Development Director responsible for the development and implementation of commercial laundry and other programs in over sixty-one countries around the world. He was also a Senior Research Fellow for a multinational organization with responsibilities over R&D and marketing portfolio development for the laundry and cleaning industry.
He has published a book on Technical Service and Sales programs and has patents in RFID technology as applied to automated chemical dispensing systems. He was also the President of the Industrial Laundry Division of a long-time supplier to this industry. Currently, Douglas is the Owner/President/Senior Consultant at MorgenBrooke LLC, a division of StoryRogers Holding LLC.

In her previous life as a scientist, engineer, and university professor, Laura learned to lead teams with diverse skillsets and combine sources of knowledge to develop solutions to challenging problems. And now, Laura is honored to follow the family laundry tradition as the fourth generation Waldman at Superior Linen Service.
