Summary
Leads the customer relation and logistic functions of the laundry. Serves as an essential partner with the customers, providing linen management services to ensure rational and strategic use of linens. Serves as the executive liaison to the third-party transportation partner. Assists the customers in meeting their patient’s expectations, while at the same time meeting their budget objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Promotes a client centered culture that strives to exceed customer expectations.
• Management of the Client Relation Team.
• Develops short- and long-term initiatives by establishing organizational protocols or systems to identify customer issues, trends, opportunities and effectively integrates them into strategy.
• Serves as Committee Chair for the Linen Utilization Committee.
• Leads the client relation team in evaluating current utilization and distribution processes and making recommendations for better utilization and cost saving measures for customers.
• As directed, assist with linen procurement, vendor relations and pricing/contracts.
• Serves as the executive liaison between the transportation sub-contractor and the laundry.
• Reviews all driver records, including, but limited to manifests, training records, vehicle inspection reports, safety data logs, etc.
• Assists transportation sub-contractor in developing and implementing transportation strategy.
• Ensures that delivery and pickup is handled quickly, safely and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Assists sub-contractor for the coordination and optimizing routes for all current and new clients.
• Stays up to date with latest transportation trends, technology, systems, and policy and procedures to assist in make recommendations to improve efficiencies.
• Assist Linen Coordinator in the delivery schedule of all new and current customers.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
