Miller Mats is a small business based in Pittsburgh, PA. Established in 1996, we have grown steadily with no layoffs. The majority of our 11-person staff has been with us from 5-14 years. Our customers stay with us an average of 20 years without a contract. Our new business comes in through referrals and website keyword searches. 95% of our business is commercial matting: rental and direct sales. The rest is towels, aprons and mops. Our customers range from convenience stores to Fortune 500 companies.
The owner is looking for someone to learn our business and culture and take over the day-to-day operations. The owner will be freed up to work on big picture projects such as training, equipment and plant improvements. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take over the business and build upon our success.
Requirements
-minimum two years of management experience
-sales and service background
-production experience a plus
-good physical condition. Will be on the routes and in production to learn from the experience of our team, find ways to improve how we operate and serve our customers
-ability to read financials and make budget decisions to maintain growth and profit
-work with vendors and industry experts
-willing to relocate
-full training provided in order to help the successful candidate take over the operation
