The Vice President of Sales and Service will oversee the development and execution of all sales and service strategies for the company providing laundry and linen rental services to healthcare organizations throughout Florida and Georgia. This leadership role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing client satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence. The Vice President will lead a team of sales and service professionals, manage key customer relationships, and collaborate with internal departments to deliver outstanding services to healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare sales, customer service, and operational management in a B2B setting, particularly within the laundry or healthcare services industry.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market share growth within the healthcare laundry sector.
- Lead and mentor the sales team to drive high-performance, targeting key healthcare institutions (hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, etc.).
- Establish and maintain relationships with key healthcare clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Oversee the identification and development of new business opportunities and markets using a strategic sales plan.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and offerings.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Lead the service team to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Develop and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards.
- Respond promptly to client concerns or issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong client loyalty.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure consistent quality and service improvements.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Hire, train, and manage a team of sales professionals and service managers to ensure high levels of productivity, engagement, and performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales and service teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and professional development programs.
Financial & Operational Management:
- Work with the executive team to set budgets, financial targets, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure that the sales and service departments operate within budget and are aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Oversee pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable pricing models.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure the efficient delivery of laundry services, managing logistics, and inventory.
Compliance & Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated with industry regulations, healthcare standards, and any changes in laundry processes related to infection control, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Ensure the company adheres to all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements in all aspects of service delivery.
- Ensure that service offerings and processes align with the healthcare industry using best practices and standards.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Provide regular reports to the executive team on sales performance, service outcomes, customer feedback, and any areas requiring improvement.
- Analyze sales trends, market data, and financials to adjust strategies and improve overall business performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in complex sales, service, or business development in healthcare, laundry, or related industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction within a B2B service-oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of healthcare industry needs, regulations, and standards related to laundry services.
• Excellent leadership, team building, and people-management skills.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and implement practical solutions.
• High level of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Proficient in CRM systems, Linen Master, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business management tools.
