2010 Elections: What They Mean for You
It’s no secret that Election Day was a success for Republicans. At press time, Republicans hold 240 seats in the U.S. House and Democrats hold 190 seats with a few races still undecided. When the dust settles, Republicans could hold up to 245 seats—a net gain of 66 seats. In the Senate, Republicans had a good night as well, with a six-seat net gain.
